Beautiful dark paintings and illustrations from SIT, an artist who has been part of the Amsterdam creative scene for many years. Lucky for us, Sit got burnt on a design career in the Ad industry and made the decision to go back to his roots as an painter and illustrator.

The very talented and prolific Julien Vallee is coming out with a monograph, Rock Paper Scissors soon. Apparently with piles of behind the scenes process photos and things. Definitely going to have to pick this one up

I really like the illustration style of Twistedfork, AKA Dan Matutina. The contrast of sharp vector shapes combined with textures and muted tones makes for a nice take on a vintage-modern style. This style is right at home with another illustrator we’ve profiled named Matthew Lyons. Good stuff.
